Did not see any roaches, and checking out!!

Your so called Resort was far from a Resort, the soda machine was 300 ft away, there were no activities The website said you had Jet ski rentals, and different watersports available, there were none. Only 2 tv stations came in clear, and the staff at the front desk was very rude.

Did have a view of the ocean and a deck off the "livingroom".

Basically a pass through room trailer. Sloped floors, low & bowing ceiling, very old and not updated. At dusk the bugs came out of the walls! Crawling & flying ant type creatures. It was awful. No one at office to contact. Only room without bugs was bedroom - bed was comfortable. There is no beach. Pool is truly tiny but clean. Deck over water is ok - no stap to help you get up. Parking is on right of way of us 1. No phone in rooms. Very disappointing experience. This is not a resort!!!!

    waterfront location

the "cottages" are actually trailer-park homes clad in panelling to look like cottages. Floors slope, ceilings are very low, poor water pressure, not well maintained. The entire complex looks like a slum.

    The view from our room

The state of disrepair: kitchen cabinets need work, front door seemed flimsy, over all shabby.

The hotel looks abandoned , very old , with no maintainance at all. When we arrived at the hotel we were shocked , nobody was there, the beach is ridiculous compared with pictures posted t the website. We walk around looking for the leasing office and it was closed and it has a trash can holding the door. We finaly we found a sign sating were the office is. We went there to get the room keys, the door was broken , the room smelled so badly , was dirty. Another customer complained that the husband got sick after spending the night there. We asked for the manager and were informed that he could not be reached for the holiday. The employee said he could not do anything , neither refund our credit cards. They transfered us to another room , also dirty , with human air in the bed sheets, old appliances . TERRIBLE Booked.net should not list this hotel.

This was definitely not a resort at all, it was a very cheap motel without charme, and expensive! Forget this place, forget this area, better try to find something else on the other side of the islands, golfe de Mexico side! The smallest pool in the world, so windi it was not possible to stay 5 min outside, We planed to stay one week, we left after 3 days... Ocean front...big laught... No front, no beach, just a few rocks, lots of mood and two old almost broken chairs to sit on.. Just forget this place, they should plan a young low budget motel instead!!! Good luck. Suzanne

The only thing we can say about the Bonefish Resort was that it was clean.

The pictures shown on line are very different than the reality. When we arrived, didn't realize the entrance to book into the resort was north of the actual building. We had to get into the car and drive to a different resort for our booking. The entrance to the Bonefish Resort was very untidy. We had an efficiency room, 2 dble beds, accommodating four adults. Very retro (incl. TV-hard to see screen) too small. Not enough dishes to use (1 cup for 4 people). Pots and pans had to be washed before use (no dish soap). Silverware not included. One of the burners on the stove didn't work. Very disappointed.......For the price, we would not recommend. This is not a resort.....maybe a motel.

This hotel is a complete rip off. The room was advertised as having a kitchen and dining area. The kitchen was a microwave and washing up bowl containing non matching crockery on top of the dresser. There was no dining area or chairs, therefore we would have had to eat sitting on the bed. Room was 12 * 10 feet overall. The Motel is unmanned, therefore there is no security whatsoever. Any one can walk off of the street direct to the rooms.

The location was nice. The room was friendly. We liked it. It was a little to small because we had a baby with us but. We didn´t think about the spacebefore.

To small for us and we couldn´t open the window in the bedroom.

The ocean view was nice. The room wasn't bad but was disapointed from pictures shown on web site.

Doors did not close all the way, ants through out the bathroom, living room and kitchen.the freezer worked but the refrigerator wouldn't keep anything cold. had to get ice and a cooler to keep food cold and the ants out of everything. Back porch was overgrown with plants and could only use half of it until someone did come and trim them then it was nice. Also some of the guests were at the pool playing music so loud we couldn't stand it when sitting on the porch (we asked them to turn it down some please and that worked for a while) they left it on even when they weren't there, playing vulger music, even when little kids were in the pool.

Very "OLD Florida". The place is falling over, cabinets are literally falling off the wall in the kitchen. everything leans to the back. the floor is so crooked that the tile is cracked & at two different levels in the crack. It was relatively clean & the beds weren't bad. the wall A/C unit was directly OVER the bed- where the headboard should have been. Housekeeping staff was non existent till our 2nd full day there. the Kitchen was supposed to be fully equipped-- there was ONE fork, one knife, nine dinner plates, one old, cracked, worn out plastic bowl, no drinking glasses, 6 coffee cups. Housekeeping could only find TWO more forks. Parking was a nightmare-- one small unmarked area in front of the largest unit. long walk around back the the beachfront units. Boat trailers took up most of the parking space. the pool was very clean- though very small. the beach is typical Keys beach-- not great, small rocky full of sea grass, and mucky water at low tide.

the other guests were mostly very friendly. the ones in the large unit were NOT-- they apparently felt that the entire parking lot was THEIRs.

Not much. Pool was small but nice. No towels though

Had to go to office which was located back down the road to check in. Room had ants. An almond tree overhead dropped nuts on the roof all day and all night. Only two towels in room for three people(had to walk back to office to get more). No beach. No pool towels. Reservation mix up and even though the vacancy sign was on they had no room to move us to. Said they could not find their rollaway bed to put us in another room. On the whole not a good experience. Would not recommend it at all.
